Winter Festival: Following on from a successful Dickensian, we are now rolling out our other Winter Festival events which are being well received. The Town Trail has started, with 20 businesses involved, and last Sunday saw Entertainingly Different on Bedford Square and in Butcher’s Hall with their Traditional Tales Show. This went down extremely well with adults and kids alike. Looking forward to this Sunday, we are hosting an outdoor market on Bedford Square in collaboration with the Pannier Market. We have a host of stalls which will complement offerings from existing traders in town plus Jack Frost for the kids and the Robey Trust with their steam engine and hot chestnuts.
Signage: this has largely been updated with just a couple of alterations needed. These are in progress and will be up as soon as they are ready.
February Board Meeting: this will be open to all levy payers who may wish to attend. It will be a good opportunity to give feedback on Dickensian, ideas for a separate light switch-on event for 2019 and to receive an update on the hanging baskets. If you would like to attend and if you have any items for the agenda, please let us know.
