Easter Trail: the latest town trail is going really well and the feedback has been great so far.
Summer Trail: the first phase of the trail ‘Walk in the Park’ launches in May half term. We are hoping that we can get a number of prizes through donation or sponsorship from local businesses. Please contact us if you would like to help and feature on trail publicity.
Robey Trust Steam Fair: if you would like a stall at the fair, then please get in touch with Elaine McMahon: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tavistock Carnival: The Lions Club and Ben Neal of HQ Bar have asked for BID member support to supercharge Carnival Day by creating a whole day and evening of local arts, music, entertainment and special events around the town. The schedule of events would be collated under the banner of Tavistock Carnival Day, presented as a one-day festival celebrating and promoting Tavistock town. The concept is that you – the bars, restaurants, shops and businesses – are the stages presenting a whole spectrum of different attractions. The special event can be anything that shows off what your business is all about. Please let us know if you would like to take part and put something on at your premises.
EcoFest: Tavistock EcoFest is happening in the Meadows on Carnival Day (July 20th). The BID has agreed to fund an accompanying booklet in return for free advertising for levy paying businesses who support green trading and offer sustainable products or practices. Promotion of your business and product(s) will be in the booklet but also on social media and the website. This looks set to be a really well attended event. To take advantage of this please email Ursula Mann email@example.com and copy me in firstname.lastname@example.org
